Social Profilr: A Social Media WordPress Plugin

Posted Monday, July 27th, 2009 in Wordpress Plugins

Social Profilr is  a WordPress plugin that anyone using social media should incorporate into their blog. It makes it quick and easy to post links to your profiles on the most common social networks, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and more. What’s best is that it is a plugin that can be used as a widget in your sidebar, so no editing of the template is required. And if you decide to change themes, your links will still be there.

Here is a screenshot of how the plugin appears in the sidebar:

You can see the links use all the common icons associated with the service. Pretty cool. Click here to Social Profilr in action.

And the configuration area is very simple. Just put in your user id for the different sites and away you go.  There are many more sites available than what is shown here (we only chose to show the top portion of the config page because it would have made for a very long screenshot if we included the entire list):

  1. GREAT information as always Daryl!

The more I see about WordPress the more impressed I am with it. You have almost got me convinced to start a new blog just so I can play with it…

You are the most knowledgeable and giving attraction marketer I’ve met and it’s a real honor to be working in this industry with you. The Rat Race Rebels are truly lucky to have you among them :)

  4. Michelle–

It is a wordpress plugin, so it cannot be used on other blogging platforms such as Squarespace, Blogger, etc.
